This charming hotel was inaugurated in May 2001. Built in the regional architectural style at the beginning of the 20th century, it has been fully renovated and was re-inaugurated in 2001 but still preserves architectural features of great value. The building is catalogued as being of historical and artistic interest by the Guipúzcoa Regional Council. The large house called "Elorza Enea" was built by the family of the same name and dates back to 1920. The restoration has been carried out conserving all the architectural features and adapting the building to today’s requirements in terms of comfort and convenience.

The hotel is situated in the village of Legazpi (Gipuzkoa) in the area known as Valle de Hierro, in the geographical centre between the Basque capitals, just 94 km from San Sebastián, 87 km from Pamplona, 75 km from Bilbao and 55 km from Vitoria.

The hotel has 9 double rooms and 3 single rooms, some with dormer windows, with bathroom, satellite TV, telephone, Internet connection and central heating.

One of the rooms has a bathroom that is specially adapted for the disabled. Each room is decorated in its own style, so that different styles are combined in single surroundings. The result is a pleasant atmosphere and a very pleasant climate.

The hotel Mauleon also offers Bar-café services, a private car park, a private dining room, a social lounge, a summer terrace, a safe and laundry service.

It has rooms that are specially prepared for business meetings with Videoconference services per hour, in which working days can be organised with all the complementary restaurant and accommodation services for greater performance.
